Must admit this has hit the Wife and I hard. He’s not only the greatest Captain but a true Yorkshire man.

Sam Neill, Tim Curry, Patrick Stewart. Can this ****** year please just end and stop taking my heroes.

This is one of the saddest things I've seen happen all year, and it's been a really hard year for all of us in general.

Patrick Stewart and his role as Picard across Star Trek series and movies made him one of my personal heroes, and he was definitely the coolest person I got to share a first name with. He put his all into every role he was in and was a class act outside of performing.

I think, if we have access to it, should all set aside an hour to watch The Inner Light tonight, or your favourite performance of his.

RIP. :indiff:

I'm devastated to hear about this today, another true legend gone, this year has been a tough one for sure.

Will be watching a few old episodes of TNG and maybe the original X-Men box set this weekend.

RIP Captain Picard, may your voyage be a calm and smooth sailing.

USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D ❤️

Horrendous week!
RIP Sir Patrick :(

Was never fortunate enough to meet Sir Patrick as he only ever agreed to 3/4 hour signing slots which meant you had no chance unless you were queuing to get in at the crack of dawn.

Did get to see Walter Koenig 20+ years ago in London. Someone in the audience asked him to say "nuclear wessels" which sent him off into a long rant about being a serious actor and not being a "performing monkey"...
Cross posting this from the Star Trek thread.
