I'm trying to test the grip level of the tires to see how realistic they are and to help with tuning.
When it comes to R tires the higher level of grip makes the car more sensitive to toe, camber & damper settings. So tuning them right becomes important to hitting those lap records. Many people claim they have way more grip then they should (acceptable to a degree, this is a game) some even say they have infinite grip (that's laughable and most likely coming from somebody with no clue as to what they are talking about) I'd like to see the reality of the situation.
I notice that the lateral G's I can pull in the game steady are around 1.3 stable going higher usually slips. This is road car testing, could be a smudge higher for the uber light race cars.
There seams to be many on this board with high testing ability.
I'm looking for tires ability at 1 to 1.5 G's. How much weight is ideal, to little and too much, cause and effect.
I will be doing my own testing, but this kinda thing always goes better with different results to compare.
