Currently, i dont have my own R390-Race Car or Road Version. Ill get it when i decide i want it. Ive tried the race Car in the Arcade version, and its pure heaven to drive.

Those of you who have it for urselves, What do you think of it, and is it worth the bother of me doing that championship. And what can it get up to on max power. lol thia i gotta know.
Thanx

It has more hp than it needs, and can surely suffice for almost any need in the game. I've given it a few test runs, and when time comes, I'll rerun the F1 championship in it. I've handily beaten the AI F1's at Midfield, now, I've got 9 other races to run in it.

AO

Both are great - the fully tuned race car can comfortably handling 1100hp and drives like an NA car, and its base set-up is excellent.

The standard road car is underpowered (around 300hp I think) but is one of the best handling cars in the game.

Road car does have great handling and the race car does do a nice professional series. :)

Really depends on the person and the track.

The Toyota and the Nissan both are very fast but some racers are better with the Toyota and the Nissan, I love the Nissan and I find it to be faster than the Toyota.

I think the ultimate speed (in full turbo trim anyway) lies with the Toyota, but it is a difficult car to drive - the Nissan is far friendlier to drive and delivers its power much more smoothly. I personally prefer the Nissan.

Power-wise, I think the GT-one has more, @ 599hp(?) while the R390 LM has 549 I think.

But again, personally, I find that the GT-one oversteers easily, and that the R390 handles better.

I'd say R390.

I thought it was good from trying it in the arcade mode, i'll bet that with my own settings and new Turbo-If it aint NA ( i cant remember), it will be unbeatable. Hopefully, lol.

I prefer the GT-One Road overall. I admit that the R390 is a great car, but I play GT2 as well, so the Oversteering bit doesn't bother me. It actually helps me drive.

Is the R390 in GT2? I know that the Gt-One is, with a tiger paint, but is the R390?

yeah theres 4 of em.. theres a Blue Road version, a red road version ( have to win), theres the LM edition from '97- which is black + red ( u have to win), and the '98 version which is blue, the same as in GT3.

Both of the R390's are the cars to have. With full mods there's a wide variety of h.p.'s to work with on the road version and the race version. Both cars handle very well when setup properly.DER ALTA gives some settings under "how slow am i" in lap time comparisons. I used his settings and tweaked them a little to match my own style. I think I have a pretty fast R390 road car.
