Race Car Diferences??

Does anybody know what the difference between Race Cars and LM Race Cars? What does the LM stand for?

LM stands for 'Le Mans', and is included in the names of the R390 and GT-One as they have both entered the Le Mans 24 hour Endurance race. However the FTO, Impreza, RX7, S2000, and Altezza LM cars haven't, as they are fantasy cars of what they would look and perform like if they were modified for the Le Mans
