Race events subsection viewable only to GTP_members?

Should there be a subsection only viewable to GTP_members? Would make time coordinated events more successfull as the times would not be so widely known. This would grately increase the chance to get into a race with the familiar faces that are online atm (here at gtp). Always nicer to race against the people you have the ability to talk to before and after the race.

This could increase the registerations too.. ;)

Just a thought, don't shoot.
 
Very good idea, other forums have members only areas. I remember in the past, think me and Jack, possibly Hun taking part in organized events, one guy, non member, constantly turning up, no intention of racing just wanted to punt everyone of track, how did he manage that, viewing GTP threads and able to see race start times. Same as usual Timo with another stonking idea, You got my vote:tup:
 
That's a good idea. The longer an event runs online, the more non-GTP'ers join. I have nothing against this in principle, it's how I became a GTP member however, I been in a few races recently where participants enter to play 'GTP pinball', not much fun.
 
We talked this privately with Cashwars and I just decided to throw the idea here. I'm sure this has been thought before by many others. 👍 Thanks for the support.. :)

Nice idea again Timo, I raced last night with a full grid of GTP members and the racing was fast, clean and everybody trusted everybody else :)

Gets my vote 👍
