Race-like air conditioner ducts...

I am looking to buy some of that bendable ducting that is often found in racecars that do not have real air conditioner. Does anyone know where I can buy some, what it is called / made of. I have seen it in many different cars and they all look to be very similar looking material.

I would like to make myself some air blowing ducts for my cockpit, to keep me cool and it should look cool and could even add some realism.

Lemme know what you guys think...
I will look to get a picture of what I am talking about once I get home.

This type of stuff. I think I found myself a supplier (I think) but still would like guidance if anyone has any clue/idea.

Corrugated pipe?

You should be able to get some at Home-Depot/Lowes/Home Hardware. People use that at the bottom of their gutters to direct water sometimes.

Not that stuff, that is like made of thin aluminum. I think the ones I am looking at are made of neoprene and fiberglass or silicone and fiberglass or even vinyl.

Their catalog seems to have what I want. I just gotta get them on the phone to confirm. They will do custom orders it seems also.
 
An issue with this could be:

That the speed & noise from a fan could be high and annoying or at least make the audio in the game harder to hear.

Personally id suggest look into home products and try to find the quietest or best air conditioning or fans. Its something you could spend hundreds of dollars on but I dont think actual motorsport cooling components in fans,fan controllers, hoses etc is the best solution.

If thats what you want though, then look into multichain car motorsport retailers as they will do motorsport magazines/brochures.
In the UK some examples are Merlin Motorsport or Demon Tweeks.

Well I am not really talking about motorsports fans, controllers etc... Just those hoses/ducting... I found myself some nice quiet floor fans from Vornado.
