race mod question...

i couldn't find the answer in the race mod thread (but i didnt resd all 400+ posts)

iv got me a Camaro z28 '69 and i love it its got most of the tuning mods and set up nicely for me. im considering doing the race mod, not least of all because it looks bad a$$!!

my question is that will the race mod override mods all ready done?

would it be better/cheaper to race mod a a stock camero?

can they be modded further after the race mod has been done?

p.s. if you have any other useful interesting info on the race mod id love to hear it
 
A racing modification automatically performs all 3 stages of weight reduction, and gives you a free FC Transmission, FC Suspension, Racing Exhaust and Aerodynamics. Everything else you have on the car gets overwritten, but you can give the car further power modifications, a FC LSD and tyres.

In other words, Racing Modification is more expensive than average modification, but looks plain sick.

If you go to settings tho you can reapply all the performance mods
 
The RM Camaro will be just the slightest bit lighter then a regular Camaro with all of the weight reuductions. PLUS the '69 in race trim is a dream to drive. Car is awesome.
 
Actually the race mod is not that much more and in some cases may be cheaper. Think about it. RM does full weight reduction which amount to something like 50-60k Race suspension which is about 15K, Race exhaust which is about 10K and race tranny which is about 20K So here we have in the neighborhood of 100K in upgrades not counting the aero package which is better than any you can buy otherwise.

Full aero packages where all 4 items are available can easily cost you 20k more so now you are up to about 120k and the race mod may only cost 115k which is a bargin and the car is faster on the track than if you have upgraded it without the race mod.
