Race Modification

I have a Lotus elise that i fully modded, i wasnt too keen on RM'ing at first so i kept it road worthy, but i have now RM'd it and it wont let me but stage 3 engine, it says i have to purchase engine mods in order, but i have already bought stage 2???

same again on my Lexus ISF, i only modded it to a stage 1, now i have RM'd it, it wont let me install stage 2 engine even tho i have already got stage 1?

i did purchase the stage 3 anyway to see if icould install it from items, but again it says i have to purchase stage 2 first even though i have it already...

does anyone know a way around this???? as i personally think its crap!!!
 
When you RM a car it unequips the mods - you just go back to tunning and click the boxes again - viola!
 
Go to your car settings... And engine section... Make sure the stage 1 is 'ticked'... Then you can get stage 2 and 3...

i just clicked on engine+1 in settings and it said install... so i did, now i can select stage 2...

poxy GT5 and its silly ways of doing things!

why cant you have a tick like the rest of the mods, and why cant you purchase engine an weight mods in settings!
why do they have to control sucj stupid things!

Give it a try...

It has happen to me aswell...

When you upgrade a car with engine upgrades... Then Race Modify it, the engine part will be 'unticked' but it's still in your cars settings...

You just have to 'tick' it again... Then you can get stage 2 and 3 and game on :dopey:

Of course I could be wrong but let me know if it works. ;)

on the engine setting i didnt realise you could click on the engine+1 and then click on install.. what a wierd way of doing that!

thanks for the quick responses guys!!! ;)

edit: and i just remembered i bought another Lotus Elise to race mod first then do engine mods, anyone want a Lotus Elise lol...
