how many of u guys use a wheel with GT5 i just got the drivingforce GTwheel and must say for £90 this wheel is great the feedback is spot on and pedals feel great for throttle control and the brake has a slight tension on it for realism im not as fast as i am with DS3 but im getting there would be great to get an online race with just wheels ...
 
I got the driving force gt,very awesome. Check out the bungee cord mod. Itll help

never herd of it only got my wheel last nyt add me PSN Pewl
just googled it a found a clip i just about an hour ago took apart my drum pedal for guitar hero for the spring and was thinkin of attaching it sumhow think that would work? ill try bungee cord also thanks for the tip
 
Grats on your wheel dude. I too got a dfgt not too long ago and at first it was a struggle to be fast but eventually you will be faster than you were with a ds3.
 
The wheel is the best way to go, I hate racing games with a controller:p
 
Just don't spend days trying to beat the Vettel Challenge, it will destroy your wheel.

And yes, the DFGT wheel is great. I happen to own and currently use one and have had no complications with it.

i own a DFGT also, but I prefer my controller simply because I played GT1 thru GT4 using it and I learned how to use it better than I can the wheel. When I feel I am about to lose control or spin, I cannot apply opposite lock fast enough with the wheel. Also because I swap games so often I find it a hassle to move it out of the way all the time. Kudos though if you can use it better than a DS3.
