Grid talk on youtube is coming in just under an hour, update lauches tomorrow now (25th |September), curious to find out how ranked online will work, they have the cars I'd like to race lets hope they use some of them!

Tried the new update and it's... a bit of mixed bag currently. Plenty of bugs regarding Leaderboard Competitions, Multiplayer, setups, the new Multiplayer UI (being partially unresponsive in some cases), even when trying to boot up the game in 32-bit, as well as crashes whilst trying to change display settings in the Vulkan version (the dev team is hard at work trying to get everything running smoothly, honestly I would've kept this in the oven for another 2 weeks or so to make sure it was water tight on release but eh). VR performance seems to have taken a hit with the new graphics, although people running traditional displays have noted similar/improved fps numbers, with some notable gains in 1% lows. Button mappings, ffb and graphics settings have been reset from my end so it did take an hour or two to get everything back in it's place (not to mention redoing the hud due to what follows below).

KW studios's updated API has also rendered some 3rd party WebHUDs obsolete (among the likes of OtterHud and ReHud), although there has been an effort to get them up and running again. For those that are familiar with OtterHud, you can find a revised fork called SealHud with instructions here.

I will say though, for a sim released in 2013, it's aged very well aesthetically and from a sound point of view. I do hope more people hop onboard eventually, feels criminal seeing such a small playerbase present. If you can look past some of the small flaws for the moment it's one of the best places to drive your heart out. Can't wait to see what's next on RaceRoom. :)
