So, there I was thinking that I'd never bother with the Nations Cup or Manufacturers Championship again, due to the poor discipline of my fellow competitors. Then I spotted that there was a Gr3 race at Maggiore GP, and decided to have a pop 'cause I like the track. LO AND BEHOLD MY BROTHERS! A totally clean race. Why? I put it down to heavy damage. Splendid.
Whereas it is commonplace, in normal Sport Mode races, for half the field to be steaming along with red penalty flags over their heads, in the Nations Cup there was only one penalty given during the nine laps. Everyone was respectful to an amazing degree, and I had a brilliant scrap within inches of a chap for lap after lap.
I understand (and @Famine can fill me in on this I'm sure) that there will be a seriously long Nations Cup next year, with plenty of slack for missed meetings. I honestly think that it'll be a brilliant series, with loads of variety of cars and tracks.
