Races not finishing glitch?

I've noticed a glitch that randomly occurs in ANY race (Seasonal-A-spec-B-spec). When the last lap is finished and your car begins to auto-drive slowly around the track, there is no "finish" and final lap times displayed. You just see the car going around the track on auto forever. Pausing it an exiting dosent work either, the only way I've found is to quit the game or turn the PS3 off, both of which make you lose all race (grinding especially) progress :scared:
I've had this happen to me about 4 times now, one of which made me lose 3 hours of grinding :grumpy:

Anyone else had this happen, or is it just my PS3/disc?
 
Yeah I do use user BGM. Didn't think that would be the cause, but I'll try it. Thanks.
 
It's been happening to me since two updates ago. Turning the driving music off seems to help some people but I have had the driving music off since day one. I never run the same track more than 5 times in a row so the loss won't be that much if it happens. There are some old threads on this subject somewhere.
 
I lost around $8million because of this glitch, grinding the Ferrari La Sarthe event. That was the first time it happened to me. I now save my game every 2 races.

By disabling completely race BGM (not only user playlists) this problem appears to disappear completely.

I think that is pretty random
my brother had it the other day and he only races with race BGM off

something happened to me while i was grinding the ferrari seasonal
everytime i completed a sector on la sarthe the sector time didn't showed up
nor the gaps between me and second place

i just noticed that and, since i knew this bug, i thought it was related with the bug, restarted the race and everything went normal.

did anybody notice when the bug occurs if the sector times do show up on the screen???
 
I only get it when doing the Special Events or the License Events. It's every time too. No BGM in the Race, I have a feeling it's the Menu BGM.
