This topic needs no introduction. A bunch of ballerinas and such dancing around as they resemble a NASCAR race. To me, it isn't REAL NASCAR ballet. I was thinking more of fat dudes (to resemble the cars), bumping into each other like sumo wrestlers. Then to resemble the big one, one of the guys slap the wall, and the other 8 or 10 dancers create a domino effect, knocking out all of them while they try to get back up. Then the end of the race, a drag race to the finish as they race like they are competing in a tractor pulling race. That's what I was hoping for as NASCAR continues to falsely advertise what America's top racing series is all about.
Now let me make a scenario for REAL racing. Let's say... the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I'll need some music, please. (CD Plays) Thank you.
NOW PLAYING: Charlotte Church - "All Love Can Be" (from "A Beautiful Mind" soundtrack, and from "Prelude - the best of Charlotte Church" CD)
This ballet is a bit of an opera as well. Imagine three ballet men trying to win the love of a beautiful woman, who personifies the 24 Hours of Le Mans winner trophy. The ballet men aren't looking to battle each other for the title, but to be a winning team. As a team (these are slim and agile unlike my bashing example, by the way), they encountered a team that wanted that same prize, the Le Mans win. The lights are bright to resemble day, and black or blue lights to resemble night. The sun comes back out and at 4PM, the "princess" is introduced to her new trio of princes. Afterwards, the princess takes turns with the three princes as they beautifully dance under the moon and stars, sharing their respective loves with the princess. They hug and kiss the princess, proving that only they are capable of loving the princess. And that they, not anyone else are worthy of the princess' love.
