I'm interested in a cockpit for a racing simulator. I'm new to gaming and don't know much about what is available... only the few options I came across via Google search. It would be great to hear from regular players, rather than biased reviews.
I'm looking for something that is an accurate simulation (best to have 3 pedals with resistance and a gear shifter to the right of the seat), looks good, and is a good buy. I'd prefer to keep it under $1000, but can go higher if needed. I can do basic construction, such as assembly and screwing pieces together, but I do not want to build a custom cockpit myself. I am 6'1" and about 200lb.
What models would you recommend for someone in my situation?
