Racing Through the Years Series

The idea:
5 Races, 1 for each decade starting from the 60's and continuing through the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's.

Manufacturers: (Road Cars Only)
Chevrolet
Honda
Lotus
Nissan
Toyota

Each of the above has at least one road car per decade. Despite this, all manufacturers will be available if they have a car for a particular race.

I was thinking to have 5 race teams with 2 drivers each (so 2 chev teams, 2 honda teams etc) which makes 10 drivers out of a possible 16. The other 6 positions would be filled by privateer entrants who could select multiple Manufacturers to choose their 5 cars from.

To keep cars relatively equal they will be pp limited. The exact pp will be determined by the lowest pp entrant (should be fully tuned) that is not a privateer (privateer entrants will be the same pp or lower if unable to match the pp limit).

(all upgrades bar aero are allowed with sports soft tires)

1st - 12pts
2nd - 10
3rd - 8
4 - 7
5 - 6
6 - 5
7 - 4
8 - 3
9 - 2
10 - 1
11-16 - 0

Bonus point for fastest lap in qualifying and race.
*Privateers will have separate points totals for their respective Manufacturers.

Sounds pretty interesting

Just worried about everyone having equal cars

Maybe have set pp limit for entire series or each decade

Otherwise sounds fun, what timeframe are u looking at

Not all cars are equal, which is kind of the point. In some race series, certain cars have certain advantages. Same with the case of works teams vs private teams. But for each race we aim to have all cars at the same PP.

As for time frame, I am not sure yet but I am thinking to do the whole series in October-November anytime from around 7am-11pm UTC+10:00 (approximately)

And im on est time so ill have to lookup times exactly but late night for us and early moring for u vice versa would work

Otherwise ill look around and see what cars there are for each era
