Well I don't think racing trucks have 32 gears that would be stupid by time you reach even the 10th gear you'd be stuffed ha

That's right, they certainly don't. The only time I've ever driven a racing truck was in V8 Supercars 2 for the PS2, I can't remember exactly how many gears it had, but it was more than 7, less than 20.

Hi Guys,
You'll find most racing trucks have auto boxes.
I had a couple of laps around Sandown Raceway with Paul Freestone who used to race trucks here in Australia. Very impressive the way that thing got out of a corner. He used an auto & did the shifting himself. Can't remember how many gears though.
I think the factory supported trucks in Europe run updated boxes with full electrics so they'd be in another world in comparison.
