I am a GT5 fan but only play when i can spare time. So I cant justify the money for a racing wheel. I remember buying one for like one the first playstation F1 games and it was quite awful. Time lag was horrific. This has also dented my confidence in them.
My question is two fold,
1) Is the racing setup worth it? ie, will i notice the difference in my driving ability, if I have any that is. I can do alright with the handheld control. Do they create a more realistic experience?
2) How do people set them up in front of the TV? Do you raise the TV up? What do you use to fasten the wheel to the table?
If some people could run through their basic setup it would be most appreciated.
