I was generating some tracks with m friends. My mate loaded up his Mt Aso course creator track then regenerated it with six sectors. Strangely it started raining. Then as time went on, the track grip reduced as well. It is very bizzare. Any one else experienced this?

I've had this at every track generated location other than the snow rally. The dirt rally actually started throwing little mud globs near the track edges. I don't think it's a glitch though.

I'm confused here. Is the glitch that Mt. Aso has rain or that the track regenerates? I am not surprised at all if the track grip decreases as rain falls.

And i dont think there is grip reduction

Then the weather coding is wrong for some reason. If A occurs (rain), then B (grip loss) should automatically occur. No point stopping halfway.

Yes I've experienced the same thing. We have a Cappuccino Cup race on a Toscana custom track tonight, I downloaded the track, weather is flagged off, but it's raining and sunny out at the same time. And you can't turn it off...

Epic Snow and rain at all the tracks. It's not A glitch, it's a bug. If you look at track settings you will see it says weather is at 50 which means it is light rain or snow. But unfortunately, It's locked on and can't be changed if this bug does appear.

Yeah. Just change the day and time progression setting till you get a dry room. I'm not sure if it's actually really reduced grip though. We had a couple of this in Legend of the Streets Touge League.

So when the glitch occurs does the sky become gray at Mt Aso or is it sunny?

It's not A glitch, it's a bug.
This made me look up the difference between glitch and bug. I found the difference is minor. A bug is improperly written code. The result of this improper code is a glitch. People use the terms interchangeably, but generally glitches are "exploitable" and bugs "crash systems."

I don't believe that it is a glitch/bug so much as it is a leak by pd. They might have been working on the weather for custom tracks for 2.0 then scrapped it at the last minute and forgot to erase all the coding from the patch.

This is cool. Now all they have to do is fix up the skyboxes and add the option officially...

Also makes me wonder if they're working on time/weather for more static courses.

I can now testify that the rain physics is in play when it rains. Although it does take a while, i mean the rain have to be continous and you start losing grip and start hydroplaning.

Maybe they are going to implement this is an upcoming patch.

Is rain supposed to look like snow flurries on ANY weather track, ever?

The day DLC released I joined a Free Run race at Spa with Weather Change, flurries were definitely falling. It hit the windshield like rain. I'm thinking it's the same thing that happened at SSR 11, meaning it's probably just a bug and doesn't point to more added weather.
