Rain Tyres

Hi guys just a quick question,

I'm currently doing the 1000km Suzuka B-Spec and am running racing inters at 44% rain.

At what percentage should I switch to the racing rains, and if the rain stops at what point should I switch back to normal tyres?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

When i ran the 24 hours at la sarthe, i switched to full rains at about 75 %, but it might depend on what car you are using, i'm not sure.

I usually switch tires when the Surface Water Content increases to 50%.

70% is the switchover point that I use. 👍

Great thanks guys It's now at 75% and I'm using a FGT so I think I'll switch at the next pit stop.

I did the 1000km Suzuka A spec with one of the Lexus GT500 cars, it began raining at the start, I switched to inters at 30%, it rained for the whole race, so I switched to wets but found them less grippy so I switched back to inters & it was fine.
