It kind of reminds me of games like Flashback, Pitfall, Abe's odyssey and Limbo.

I just noticed that no one has posted anything here other than your good self. We have the game downloaded already but cannot play until tomorrow. It looks quite interesting and its feel reminds me of a few kids stories, which is not surprising I suppose as certain, specific children's stories were the influence for this.

I doubt it will be a massive seller, but I'm looking forward to playing it quite a lot.

I purchased Rain this evening and like what I've played so far. There is something about a European city setting that really grabs me. Throw the soothing sound of rain that I could listen to all day and you have a nice atmosphere. The gameplay is pretty simple so far, one chapter in. Use cover to hide when you don't want to be seen and traverse the environments. Nothing super standoutish about it so far, but the setting was enough of a sell for me. Anyone else decide to make the purchase?

I was always afraid that it'd make me want to got to the loo every ten minutes :)

Busy packing for much of the day, but I hope to get some time in on this game before this evening.

Just a head's up for anyone starting this, the controls page only appears briefly on loading and doesn't seem to be accesible from anywhere else in the game. So for everyone's sanity, here are the ones I've encountered so far:

Jump/climb - X
Interact/crawl - O
RUN - Square
Select - hint
Start - pause/menu

Remember the RUN one, otherwise you will die...:)

Just finished Chapter 2. I've been busy since Tuesday and haven't been able to play. I decided to limit each play session to one chapter a time. It's good stuff.

I just saw IGN's review of this, slightly annoyed me but made me want to buy it hey. All of the comments put it at an 8 or 8.5 game at least. Will be getting this after payday, hope it gets the attention it seems to deserve. Vive le difference, literally.

I'm through Chapter 4. This game is a wonderful experience. It's not fast paced or thrilling but mysterious and kind of gripping. I want to know what happens to the boy and girl and more about their world. The music is well done and something you could have on in the background while studying or reading. It's not on the level of Journey but that is a once in a generation title if you ask me.
