I am late to the party so I just started Rainmaster races.
Tried the Racing, Heavy Wet but my corvette skidded like its on ice. Then I tried Racing Soft and it felt better. Even the gear recommended is higher at the turns than wet tires. Could that be true or I am just hallucinating? If that is true, when should racing wet or intermediate ever be used? What is the easiest tires to win this series? Got my ass handed in racing wet and 3rd in racing soft after 2 tries. Aids off ABS: 1, G27 wheel user.

no, you are not hallucinating. for some reason, PD's tire physicians forgot that rain tires were supposed to help you when driving in the rain. and also, for the later s license events, the rain also significantly slows down the tire depletion physics, so using racing soft's is by far the best thing to do!

Well race soft tires in rain yes. I do it too... - Isn`t that foolish??? Race soft is a SLICK tyre, and IRL they would not be able to drain a single drop of water...But PD does not know these things. The WORST tires to use in heavy rain in GT6 - are heavy rain tires... Unbelieveable. And PD is not aware of it. They didn`t test their game before release...:dunce:

I used a stock LFA N Pac back when I did it. Before the alignment "fix." Before I started to appreciate the over-tiredness of default cars. So...Sports Hard. ;)
