Now i have all the components for my new cockpit so here is some teasers for you.

Insipirations for cockpit came mostly from Chilicoke,Wayside and Mars.
Note nothing is screwed or cut to final dimensions yet. I piled the blocks so that you get the basic idea.

i will invert g25 pedals but i use tubo s wheel which is not easily modifiable. Hand brake would be nice but i will make rest first.

I have now one backup unit of turbo S which i will repair and make fan mod. Bigger diameter wheel would be cool though :)

Now i am setting up the pedals and seat. I will post more pics soon. I think i get most of the stuff together tomorrow. Gear stick mount and paint will be the last things.

Most things are now in. My friend forgot to give me the battery recharger so mounting gear stick will have to wait for now :)

The clutch looks like it's just used as a dead pedal set way on the side there. Is it?

There is foot rest comming when later (you can see peak of block i think putting there on left from the clutch.) Clutch felt best there where it is. Brake is closer to gas as i do not really left foot brake and i use heel&toe.

I suggest you pick up the Fanatec Rennsport Shifter Adapter, for mounting your shifter. Incredibly solid, and if you don't like where it is, you can easily move it very quickly.

I must say, your pedal placement is pretty weird, but if you're comfortable with it, by all means.

;)

I posted couple of videos to youtube. Other is simple cockpit introduction and the other is GT5:P driving with new cockpit.

Watched the vids.

If you buy the shifter adapter (it's $20), you won't have to use zip ties, and it will look much more elegant than your current option.

Just a suggestion.

Loving the overall setup though. Very clean. what color are you planning on painting?

;)

Shifter adapter would be better but i am fine with this setup for now.(maybe if i buy the CS shifter someday, i will also buy adapter)

I have white paint. I will likely paint it next weekend.

Finally I painted my cockpit and also added something to cover the bolts of the pedals.(I moved to new place and white suits nicely)
