Hi

I'm still stuck on the rally car special events. I've breezed though the snow (very easy in a Imprezza) & tarmac at levels 10 & 20. But I can't beat the gravel stages at all even at level 10!

Is there a set up that works best for gravel?

I have the Lancia Delta S4 & 205 85 evo to use & money isn't a problem.

Thanks
Paul

Don't forget to look at the powerband to see where power begins to fall off. Most rally cars like to be shifted before redline.

Just get the Ford RS2000 rally car as soon as it pops up in UCD. You'll breeze through all the events with the stock setup. Maybe just a turbo upgrade for the Lvl 20 event.

Just use the S4 and upgrade it with turbos.

Use a 50:50 torque to provide grip and stability. Job should be easily done.

Don't worry about big turbo's. All the speed from the rally cars will come from the LSD set up and suspension. Shorten the gearing and drive slower. The Grp B cars are more point and squirt then a massive drift round every corner.

Use the search function here and you will find plenty of set ups for the diffs and suspension. Good luck and enjoy them !

As above someone said short shift to keep the car in the power band, High RPM turbo's are no good !

Torque - 50:50
TCS - Off
ABS - Off
Stage 3 turbo
Stage 3 Engine

That'll pretty much eat the competition away.

I used my C4 WRC (won 3 of them) but I found it was really bad for understeer so I softened the front swaybar and put more bias to the rear brakes. Good turn in while still being stable enough.

I also found that braking early works well and less drifting. Try to get the car pointing as straight as possible on the exit of the corners.
