Hello does anybody in Gran Turismo still enjoy rally racing? It seems the interest has died down quite a bit...I used to be able to get full rooms in no time, now I struggle to get 3 people...including friends.

If you like Rally Racing or Like using Rally Cars on all sorts of tracks including Speedways with the Dirt and Snow add me please!

I usually try to run them near WRC regs (roughly 325hp) or somewhere around 520-530 PP

I am very partial to a rally haha

Can't add at the moment but will race as and when I can (add me If you want)

Do you use private lobbies at the moment or would you if you get interest
 
I like rallies at time... shame no takers for WRC2 either...
 
I love and have much respect for rally racing in real life, but I think it's been a hugely missed opportunity in GT5 (and throughout the whole GT series).

The environment, tracks, sounds and physics are so far removed from real life that it's just not enjoyable.

At least the Grand Canyon track in GT4 and the manor it was done was half way decent.

To have some Rally Cross tracks and racing would have been excellent as well. Top Gear covered it recently, so watch that if you haven't seen it. Very fun and competitive sport, I remember watching it back when I was only knee height.

Grand Canyon was a blast, best rally track in GT. It says much about rallying that I have not driven on Chamonix for 10 months...
 
I mostly turn to Rallisport Challenge 2 and Dirt3 for my rallying fix. Polyphony Digital threw in rallying as an afterthought.. There aren't any point to point races, but I do like Chamonix Mini and Eiger Norwand W Trail.
 
Would any of you guys be interested in a GT5 Rally League?
 
I love rally racing. In video games and in real life! Though, truth be told, I really don't follow up on WRC in real life but I enjoy is massively.
I would love to join a rally league, but I'm not good at rallying with my G25 just yet.. when I am half way decent I will definitely give you guys a shout
 
I adore rallying. It's been my favourite motorsport all my life. I've always wanted to be a rally driver - and I still do! The only problem I have with rallying on GT5 is that the physics are way, way, way off. I don't enjoy rallying on GT5 that much to be honest... unless it's a tarmac rally. I have a Countryman all set up for that!
 
@Ferrari458 that is ok all i want to do is gather a group of people that would once in a while do a rally with any car they choose

Ok that sounds great then. When you have some peeps set up shoot me a PM. I won't be able to log on to my PS3 until April 29th'ish when my summer begins. Unfortunately I didn't bring my PS3 with me to the university

I never played a real rally game so i dont know but i think gt5 rally is pretty real
 
The problem I face is I forget about the rally whenever I log on ill have to try and get sometime to indulge.
