seeing that the rally part of gt3 is fun but not realy "rally like", can anyone tell me which ps2 rally game is best?

I used to play this rally game on PC called rally 2000 or something like that. It has been touted as the most realistic rally game ever made but ....
1. my pc is slow
2. it was so realistic (aparently) that you slide everywhere and the tracks were so narrow that there was absolutely no room for error with the hard to handle cars. the amount of times i flipped was incredible.
3. the learning curve was too steep. Even the slowest car was too hard to handle.

I became quite good at the game, staying on the track and not flipping or taking costly shortcuts that damaged the car and still couldnt get a top 10 position at the end of it all..
great game tho, even if the playability of it was low.

well, for one, WRC uses the real courses you'll see on TV, during the WRC broadcasts, even if they're a bit shorter in the game. then there are the cars, which aren't all in GT3. and there's damage, varying climatic conditions, night and day racing, etc... it's just a better rally simulation than Gran Turismo.

but WRC's problem is that it's too short. i'd suggest you wait for WRC2 or Colin McRae 3, both of which look promising and better than GT3's rally mode, which, while better than GT2's, is still lacking.
