seems like this is by far my weakest link of all the different categories of racing im no where near the pace with my evo on intermediate rally stage and just cant get on the pace in the sebastien loeb challenge either any advice you can give me particularly on the gran turismo rally
 
I was doing the second tarmac stage in the Suzuki SX4. At the last split I was 4 seconds ahead at the end I was somehow 3 seconds slow.
 
just keep the tail in, in gt5 its not about sliding through corners (although it should be) its about going slow through the corners and keeping the car in form.... for the seb loeb challenge i set tc to 3, which helped alot, i got golds with everything with that, you just got to be slow to be fast
 
for the loeb challenge turn on active steering i think it is

i used a WRX STI that was tuned to 345hp which is the HP limit for the intermediate rally and passed, use a 6spd close ratio gearbox
 
I finally golded the Intermediate Rally. For all those who are stuck like I was, do the Loeb challenge first and use the prize car on the intermediate rally.

It was so hard because something was not right with the Suburu rally car I was using on this challenge.

Now the Loeb challenge is not easy but it's easier than the Intermediate Rally with a bad car.

TC 2, ABS 10 worked for me (gravel and snow).
 
I found the Loeb challenge easier than intermediate, probably because I got gold on all 3 by a good margin (one by 7 seconds).
 
Use a mid RPM turbo kit on a proper rally car.

1) it helps haul you out of the corners

2) the limitation of the event is BHP not torque, so you'll have alot more torque than you're supposed to but won't go over the BHP limit.
