The question is; why do people hide what age they are on this Forum?

Considering there's a minimum age-limit for the forum then that means were all at least xx* years old.

So, why do you do it?

*I cannot remember the age

Maybe they don't want to reveal too much personal information. Plus people can make assumptions based on age, maybe they don't people to do that.

In some cases it's nice to be judged by content you provide and not by your age. I guess some people want to be judged by merit, not by how many years they've been on this earth.

I've met a few people who don't like to celebrate birthdays, for one reason or another. They don't see much point in mentioning their age either, as after a certain point, it's not really that important.
