Random car Random track

I got bored yesterday so I made a crude excel (well iWork Numbers) sheet. It is just a list of all the cars and all the tracks then it picks one of each at random. There are probably way better things out there, but I'm happy to share the sheet or just the formula if anyone is interested.

Numbers can export as excel, but I don't know if it works. I'll check when I get home later.

It is really easy to add and remove stuff, just need to change a few numbers, so you could customise it to your favourite cars / tracks in no time.

If anyone is interested, let me know and we will work something out.

Cool, I could make use of this when I get bored :) ...Don't think you can upload files here but there are plenty of free hosting sites that you could post a link to.
 
I had to upload as .rar, just rename it .xls (make sure your file options allow you to see the file extensions ;)

To generate a random combo, just put a number in any cell and hit return, or make any change to the sheet. The columns for the cars and tracks are hidden, so if you want to view them, you will have to unhide them.

Credit where it is due, the car list I used is from the master car list posted here, as is the track list, but I had to add the DLC tracks to that. The car list in the excel sheet is missing preorder bonuses as I don't have any, if you do have any add them to the end of the list and adjust the formula. Same if you want to make the list a little less MX-5 heavy ;)
