This will be an ongoing series with random race meetings, if you have an idea for something you want to run, post in the thread giving at least a day notice. We will run up to one night per week. Races will be approximately 25k (15.5 miles) with 5 races per night. Tracks are to be decided either by vote or random course generator. There will be no qualifying, and grid shall be set to reverse from last race. Events shall be held in an open lounge to include as many drivers as possible.

For our first event we will run Subaru Legacies at 305 horsepower and 1400 kg on comfort tires. Races will be: vote, random alaska, random leige, vote, vote. The room will be up around 8:00PM US Central tonight. For easy access, add me on PSN, and click the yellow circle next to my lounge when viewing me under community, or look for RCC Legacy for the room name, but I will post a number when the lounge is up.

The races are postponed to tomorrow at 9:30 PM US Central tomorrow.

This fits better in the Clubs & Leagues section of the Online Racing sub.

Just letting you know so you can move it for better visibility and less confusion now rather than be forced to later 👍

Good first combo. btw.

Is this leauge a follow on from kingys leauge?

No, I've never heard of his league.

Despite postponing the race, we still had a small turnout with Tman64general and RCS_JCub joining me for the Subaru Legacy Cup. The first four races were uncompetitive with 2 drivers running into trouble in each race, Tman won the first race at Chamonix East, I took the checkers at Alaska, JCub took the race at Leige, Tman got his second win of the evening at Kart Space 2 by 1 Lap. In the finale, we raced at the Top Gear Test Track, JCub got out to an early lead, Tman made up a small deficit and was racing side by side with JCub. I caught up within a couple laps and the 3 of us battled the rest of the way. The last lap saw 5 lead changes between JCub and I. I passed JCub going into Wilson, JCub re-took the lead going into the hammerhead, but couldn't hang on, he made one final attempt going into Bacharach, but could not hang on and hit an invisible deer, costing him second place.

Points:
Tman64general 95+5
RCS_JCub 91
RCS_Ford-Driver 89

If you have any ideas for the coming week, feel free to post them.

The 300 SL Championship will be held on Tuesday after RCS Cool Classics (around 8:45 PM US Central time). The cars will be unmodified on comfort soft tires, all 5 tracks will be determined by a course vote.

Race 1- Nurburgring: An early crash took me out of contention, but there appeared to be some good racing up front, winner-MrLayVon by 2.745 seconds over Viper.
Race 2- Circuit de la Sarthe: A very competitive race with the top 4, I was looking to pass Viper or LayVon on the right through the Porsche Curves, but on the last left hander, Specter understeered sending me into the wall. My last ditch effort to get a position in the chicanes resulted in me spinning and losing 4th to Carts, winner- MrLayVon by .493 seconds over Viper
Race 3- Kart Space 1: Specter and I got the early advantage on the rest of the field, and battled for the first half of the race exchanging the lead a few times. Around lap 15 Specter put the car into the inside wall and I had nowhere to go resulting in engine damage to him, the only challenge for me the rest of the race was watching out for JCub, after Specter told him that he would make it worth his while to slow me down. Approaching JCub with less than 5 laps to go with an 8 second lead, I just slowed down and followed JCub, winner- Ford-Driver by 1.797 seconds over Specter.
Race 4- Daytona Superspeedway: After 2 failed attempts at a rolling start, we were underway with typical Daytona pack racing which ended up with Specter and JCub wrecking. In the lead in the closing laps, I just held my line on the bottom forcing any attempted pass for the lead to be to the outside. LayVon got a run coming to the checkered flag, but a delivered a... check to the side of his car to win by .013 seconds with Viper only .077 seconds behind.
Race 5- Special Stage Route 7: Viper and JCub fell behind early in the lap, so it was down to a 3 way battle with Specter LayVon and I. I wanted to be conservative until the run to the finish line. Going into the tunnel Specter was in first with LayVon right behind, I needed to win with LayVon in 3rd to take the Championship, so when LayVon made his move for the lead, I stuck to Specter's bumper, but I took the turn out of the tunnel too slow and wasn't able to make the pass for the win, just managing to get beside him before the line, winner-Specter by .064 seconds over Ford-Driver. Champion- MrLayVon by 3 points over Ford-Driver.

300 SL Championship standings:
MrLayVon- 89
Ford-Driver- 86
Viper- 78
Specter- 68
JCub- 62
Carts- 28

Again, feel free to post ideas for next/following weeks.
