Yesterday, I was in a JDM lobby, it was packed lots of people had mics, it was fun!

Then...*You have been rejected.*

I hate it when this happens, I was in an LFA - Japanese.

I get really angry when people kick me without a warning.

Can we stop this?

Just warn the person, tell them to stop whatever there doing.

Unless their trolling, kick, block report.

You were probably kicked because you were lagging or you joined a lobby where the host was a different nationality and racist.

No one was lagging around me, and I just cleared my cache.

I think I was kicked because of my car.

It just goes to show how inconsiderate people can be. I found that a lack of communication causes most problems...in the game and in real life.

I joined a "GTP Lobby"; won the 1st race in my Saleen against 3 Super GT cars. I expected to get childishly kicked, but no.

Then we changed track, they got into LeMans and Super GT cars and I got into my XJR-9...."you were kicked out".

When someone Is hosting a lobby (more specifically a Free Run lobby) they become incredibly arrogant and think they rule the world. Everyone does it.

It happens; so much so that I just dismiss it and move on.

Well to be fair, they kinda do. The host has every right to do anything they want and that includes kicking for no reason. Don't like it? Dont rejoin that hosts room. I pretty much never ever get kicked, so perhaps you are doing something wrong if it happens a lot. Perhaps check yourself before blaming others.

I frequent two rooms quite often and we will kick people from outside the oceanic region, it's not because we're racist either. I've had some great races with germans and scandanavians, the problem simply comes down to lag. Once one or two join it tends to become a serious issue so we have to kick the foreigners.

So yeah, don't assume racism please =/ I'm not denying that there are some that do it just because of racism but it's certainly not always the case.

OT: It could be because the LFA is sort of on a league of its own, Personally I wouldn't call the LFA a JDM, it's what.. twice the price of an NSX and how much more powerful?

It's a bit unfair for them to just kick without asking you first, so either they're just really rude, picky, it was for friends only or it was a case of lag

Well, considering I only join full Free Run lobbies; I think I can safely say that it's not my fault I get kicked.

Perhaps you were taking up a spot reserved for someone who had left to change oil/do permanent upgrades to their car?

It's hard to say without knowing the circumstance in detail.

It's best not to be too bothered by it, if it happens often just open your own room, as I said often room hosts aren't doing it out of spite, but out of necessity.

It happens.

I get kicked simply for my name even from fellow Englishmen. Once I rejoined one of these rooms with an alternate account, where me and the host had a epic, totally clean side by side battle for the full 5 laps of my first race with only 0.050 between us at the finish. He described it as the best race he ever had on any game, not knowing that he just kicked me moments before and after sending me a whole dose of seriously immature messages.

Go figure.

What does GTP stand for? I always see people running around with GTP on their name.

Examples; GTP_Herp, GTP_Derp, GTP_HerpDerp9001

Gran Turismo Planet, the name of this site. There is a racing league that requires you to create a new account with the GTP suffix at the begininng of your user ID/PSN. I guess it's to acknowledge that they are looking for respectable racers.

I get randomly kicked all the time, before the black loading screen even goes away. Its mainly because I have an American flag next to my name, and apparently the rest of the world thinks Americans are fat arrogant a holes, slow dirty racers, and in some way inferior to the rest of the funny accent countries :)

I have developed an opening sentence that I will say immediately when joining a room full of people that don't know me. It goes something like this....

"OK guys I know I know, I have an American flag next to my name but I swear I have good connection I race clean and I'm not an arrogant asshole like the rest of us"

Generally I am greeted by a bunch of laughter and then we all become good friends, and I get to hear about the other rare Americans who they think are on par with the rest of the world.

Sometimes I still get kicked when they are done the race, and Depending on how long I waited, I will send a mature message telling them something to make them consider it next time. If I waited a really long time someone will be getting a message about how their mother should have swallowed them.

My lil bro plays on my original account whenever I'm at Uni. I swear he is destroying my reputation; he gets into fights with other racers (usually drag racers after pinks). I cant join a proper drag lobby because he has picked fights with almost every good host. I get random hate messages whenever I sign in (which is a sure sign that he has played).

Sorry. I was just curious. I was thinking it was GTPlanet for a little while.

:lol: You just made my day thanks rosckolove:cheers:

Lol......I get really mad with how rude people can be. I waited for you slow crashing idiots to complete 8 laps just to get kicked when the race ends 20 minutes later.

Don't take it to personally, this is the Internet after all, I was playing yesterday, and the host randomly says "yanks are gays" then proceeds to kick all the usa ppl, then kicks me when I was leading a race and I'm from the same nationality as the host, Internet logic for you

Emmmm... guys, what is LFA?:dunce:

I got kicked from a room which I vaguely remember had the acronym in its description when I tried to setup a VW Nardo to 550 pp. So I must have done something bad but untill today I didn't figure out what exactly.:dopey:

Production cars only? The Nardo was never released, maybe they had a problem with it. Either that, or the team thing.
