Dr. Randy Pausch died today after a two year battle with pancreatic cancer. I am a little suprised no one had already created a thread for the CMU "Last Lecture" professor (unless I executed my many searches incorrectly--always possible), so here it is.

If you're not familiar with Dr. Pausch, here is a short but very moving clip of him on Oprah. As a parent myself, I can appreciate his words especially so.

Rest in peace, Dr. Pausch. Your words have been an inspiration to many.

I remember listening to his Last Lecture... I am glad he was able to share that with the world before he left. Rest In Peace, Randy. You have surely left a legacy to be remembered.

I finally got a chance to listen to his Last Lecture, truly inspirational. He will be missed.

Wow, I was just thinking about Dr. Pausch a few weeks ago. Poor guy.

He is truly a hero for transforming such a tragic circumstance into something awesome and inspirational for the entire world. His life was cut short, yet the way he passed his boon to the rest of this earth could not make a life more complete.

Rest in peace, Randy Pausch.

Same here. It's amazing how much your attitude about things change when you have children.

Rest in peace, Dr. Paush.
