Rare paint item trading help question

Hey! ok so I just got myself my first silver chrome paint item. I'm wondering: if I paint a car with it, then send the car to my friend, will they receive the paint item like a normal paint item? Or since it's a 'rare' item, will they only receive the car?

Thanks guys. And I had a little search here but couldn't find anything so either this question hasn't been asked before or I am still drunk from last night (possibility) :sick:
 
I don't think the recipient will receive the paint chip. I remembered I received a production and it never gave me a paint chip. Or I could be wrong.
 
The recipient will only get the original color of the car paint chip not the chrome.
 
Well it does it if it's just like a normal paint chip, like if I give you a red Ferrari you'd also get a red Ferrari paint chip. I dunno I'l wait and see but thanks.

Yes, but the chrome and matte paint chips do not carry over if you paint a car and gift it. I've tried this myself to multiply my chrome paint only to have wasted it.
 
Thank you! haha I've wasted my chip painting my Lambo SV. oh well. You haven't made it in Gran Turismo until you have a chrome Lambo.

lol. or a gold chrome Mach 1. Don't know why I thought that would be the most awesome thing ever. What's worse is getting ripped off in a failed effort to trade it for a matte white paint chip. Lousy scammers!:ouch:👎
