Hey All,

This is my first "real" attempt at producing some nice GT4 shots, and would appreciate some constructive feedback 👍

Cheers

Dan.

I like the first one a lot. 👍 I'm not an expert, but I wish the pics were slightly brighter(really tiny bit). Anyways, it's way better than my photos. :)

Cheers guys, yeah, I read the excellent tutorial yesterday, and it kinda prompted my attempts at using the photo mode.

I did get a few "off centre" shots, but they just didnt look right to me, also for some reason the PS2 saves the images way to dark, which can be fixed in PS, but it seems hard to get a good balance between making them lighter and having them look to washed out.

Never the less, I think I might be making more use of the photo-mode in the future :)

Yeah, the pictures are usually way too dark, you've got to mess around with the exposure level. I just jump into Photoshop and mess around with it.

Also, I forgot to mention, play with the shutter speed and aperture. You'll get some really cool pictures. Nice job with the cropping, by the way. :)

They're quite good, I like the first two. One thing though, the subject doesn't always have to be dead center in the shot. Just try out different things/angles, experiment.

DRT2RM wrote an excellent tutorial on Photo Composition, check it out: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=61522

I agree. You have some amazing shots there, the only thing I could advise is too take a look at the thread in the link and try rearranging some of your shots to offset the subject in the frame, to give it that little something.
Keep it up though, and hopefully we'll see some more from ya soon. 👍
