I'm sure many of you have heard of the Japanese Porsche tuning company Rauh Welt that often holds race days at Tsukuba for its clients. If not that video should give you a taste of their inspirational work.

I would like to start a weekly track series hitting up manly Tsukuba but a few other tracks as well.

The first race will now be pending do to schedule changes.

The race will be 10 laps long and the winner will recieve a fully tunned Audi RS6 or a Nissan RE390 road car, their choice.

The regulations are as follows:

Vehicle: RUF BTR '86, RUF CTR "Yellow Bird", RUF CTR2
Tuning: Regulated to 555pp
Tyres: Unrestricted
Driving Aids: Prohibited

Track Options:
Surface Edge: Real
Tyre/Fuel wear: On
Damage: Light
Penalty: Light
False Start: On

Please do not attempt this race if you have not driven any of these cars, they are very tricky to drive. Please only sign up if you know you can be clean in these cars.

PM me your PSN name and the car you will be driving or drop that info here.

The race will be held in a private lobby. My PSN is miataMike so you will need to friend me to be able to join.

I will have a public lobby open tonight for hot lapping at 6 p.m. CST

If this race turns out well more will continue. Looking forward to a fun event, Cheers.

The first race will be held at 8pm CST on Saturday 7/9. The lobby will open up for practice/qualifying at 7pm CST.

The series has merit, but 1 days notice is not enough time to test set-ups et al.

Perhaps you should consider extending it by a week and todays/tonights event could be a testing/homologation session.

Just a thought.
PS. Why not include the RGT '00?

Most of RWBs cars are older (air cooled) 911s, the RGT wouldn't really fit in with the theme.

I'd be up for this if it weren't on Saturdays.

Apologies for posting it everywhere, wasn't sure what days work best. I will pull it down from other sections. I will look at my schedule and reconsider the dates.

Yeap.

Air-cooled 911's (RUF's) 👍

I can't make it as i'm already committed to a series. But will follow with interest and prehaps if the schedule permits and all clear with the organisers, might express an interest in a one-off drive :)
