Hey Everyone!

Well, I must say I'm a big fan of Ray William Johnson.

I'm following =3 and BreakingNYC and YourFavourteMartian.

And since he became "famous" over YouTube, and so known that I thought it is a good Idea to make up a "RWJ" - Thread, we're you can troll about him, talk about him and yeah.

I went into that video wanting to hate it, but I ended up watching the whole thing. :ouch:

I've gotten a few people onto his video's. Not sure how I got onto it myself though.. Always funny to watch!

I never liked RWJ, I just hate that style of video that all popular Youtubers seem to use now (copious cuts throughout the video when they're not needed, speaking far too fast etc.). Although I do envy him for the amount of money he makes just by "reviewing" viral videos.

I watched his show for a few weeks, but the one day I stopped, I had no desire to go back. There's just nothing there.
Maybe it's my jealousy of him getting rich from doing nothing.

I'm a fan of ShayCarl and the Shaytards, and as such have been following maker studios for a while. I think they're doing a great job. I saw the interview they did with partners project and I found out they got a very nice grant from youtube to go and create content, which explains alot.

Anyway, RWJ, I personally think he's a bit of a dick. And so do a couple of other people that have spent time with him unfortunately. His videos are ok I guess, although I always skip the 3 minutes of lame jokes he makes after each video.

Thats actually how I found out about him, because I love viral videos. I just looked at one and someone posted that, and I ended up trying to find out who he was. Yeah, his videos are good.
 
That guy... ugh. Encyclopedia Dramatica had a page that pretty much resumed my feelings on that dude.
 
I don't like RWJ in my opinion he's late with a lot of memes videos etc. And then when people see something they've seen of RWJ they say "oh that's RWJ's thing", actually no it's not. Honestly I like memes before he has to give his smart ass opinion about them, I think I can do that myself.
 
I remember he did political videos a while ago, he then had to delete them due to a new job and then he started =3, I'm not sure if he is hired to do these videos, which would help explain how he hasn't been taken to court by now.
