RAZR's blocking system not working

Hey i've had a number that's been harassing me through text messages and it has a block/unblock numbers option in settings and everytime I input the number to block and press OK it just keeps saying NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. Any thoughts? :indiff:
 
I could be wrong, but I think your network has to enable such a feature themselves before you can do it. I'm guessing that's what the phone is trying to do - checking with your network that it's permitted. To be honest, it's not worth the hassle - you might as well just ignore them, and let such a person throw away their money. If it's really bothering you though, ring your network and get them to bar the number for you.

You my good man - is spot on..

It's not something the phone does but something the network does..

@BlackBird - Call your provider and ask if it's a possible to enable... On my wrrk phone, I can do just about anything, incl. relay, busy tone to certain numbers and all sorts of whatnots (no a cheap deal) - On my private no bull service, I can do sod all but answer a call, dial a number and send and receive txt messages..
