Okay guys, the other day i got a converter that turns a 3.5mm TRS signal into an RCA signal so i can send my PC sound to my 5.1ch RCA speaker system, (2.1 at the moment cause the other 3 are no use) then i use a banana connector to split it to both speakers. The problem is that i only get sound through from the left channel. I know i'm only going to get a mono signal but i should still get both channels. I did some fiddling around and tried the converter in reverse (tried sending AV/RCA signal to PC speakers and Ipod earphones) and it didn't matter whether i plugged it into left or right output of the VCR, but i only got sound out of the left speaker. I came to the conclusion that the converter (or somewhere along the line) it's only sending/recieving the left speaker channel.
Can anyone help me with this?
