It seems that the moderators in the "Photography and Graphics" forum haven't been doing their job. I reported the following thread to them twice on the grounds of:

Here's the thread:

There's absoutely nothing wrong with that thread.;) :D It's not like they're showing any "important" parts or anything. I guess your dad's heavy filter restrictions are getting to your brain. :banghead:

That part of the AUP is a tricky part. Because that thread can be both classified as a bunch of 13 years olds drooling over nice looking chicks, and as 'profanity'.

Tricky.

umm, look at the red part. It says nothing sexually oriented. Frankly, those women showing off their cleavage and wearing skimpy clothing counts in my book as "sexually oriented" (remember, I am a Christian and I don't like porn or anything along those lines). That thread is against the acceptable policy, and I will not rest my case until that thread has been deleted.

Calm down.;)

I am a Christian too(a very slack one though). But there is a very simple answer to your predicament. If you don't want to see the images that have been posted in that thread, just don't go into the thread. Now I'm not condoning pornagraphy or anything, but for the people that want to view just stay out of their business and let them do what they want.

Jpec,

There is nothing in that thread that you have pointed out, that is against the AUP.
Any image in that thread is something that you could see by merely walking down the street or at your local beach.
The topic from the AUP which you have higlighted has been discussed in length by the moderators and the "Owner" of this site and a clear definition has been drawn.

The thread that you have outlined is not in violation of the AUP as the owner of this site has dictated.

I would suggest that you take Omega Stars advice and steer well clear of that thread if it offends you and your "religious" beliefs.

Respectfully,

Boom

P.S. - Jpec, quite contrary to what you have stated in your first post, the moderators here "HAVE" been doing our jobs.
We do so much more than what is visible to you.

Anything beyond the images that are already in that thread will be deemed unacceptable and the member that posted them will be handled accordingly.

I certainly hope that a person as smart as you Cobraboy already know's where that line is drawn. ;)

My collection stays firmly (pun not intended) on my, erm, CD.

Guys very sorry to go off topic, but in Concept's signature, it leads u to the gangster game, where whenever u go there it givest the person points :banghead:

Ok, now back on topic.

That thread is Acceptable because it doesnt really show really sexual parts.

And, the pictures are apart of life. ;)

Deleted!! Thats a bit Harsh. What about the people who took the time to find those pictures! :(

Just so that it's known, Jpec07 had a valid concern and voiced it in the proper thread. I am now closing this thread as 'other members' have taken this thread beyond the scope of it's intended use.

This is not a bashing contest, nor is it a battle field.

Just so that others that might read this thread can know where the 'line' is in regards to the AUP, or more specifically the area that Jpec07 has pointed out I will use an example to help better define what that line is.

In regards to images, consider anything that you would not see at your local public swimming pool as inappropriate.

I hope that this gives everyone a better understanding of what is, and what is not acceptable.
