Just to let you guys know, Danny is currently in hospital recovering from surgery and won't be online at any stage tonight and most of the day tomorrow. He doesn't know I'm posting this however, but if anyone wants me to pass on well wishes then I gladly will :).

Since 5pm this afternoon, nurse at clinic decided to send him in and they took him near enough straight away for surgery.

The operation was to remove an Absyss from his lower back, or to drain it at least.

No he doesnt have his phone on him Dunc, I've got it, BUT will be with him from 10amish tomorrow morning if ya wanna ring him :)

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Danny. I had an op for something similar when I was 19, and everything went well, and never had any recurrence or trouble with it again - thankfully :sick:

Also had something similar at the end of december.
The doctor said it almost never saw it heal that quickly, so i had a bit of luck with that.
You could almost put a ping pong ball in the hole it left behind after surgery, but didn't hurt so much. (also very lucky)

seems pretty common among young guys.

These two bits here pretty much nail what I had too when I was 18. Post-op treatment was really painful for me, though. :ouch:

Have a speedy recovery Danny, didn't know about any of this so I was suprised to see this thread. Keep yer chin up, grab a beer, put your feet up and watch some football (there's nowt else on TV at the moment).

Dannnnnny!!!!!!!!!! Didn't know about this. Definitely get through it strong and healthy. You can't be absent from GTP - it just wouldn't work. Eeeee
 
Sponge baths are fun. I miss my time in rehab for that reason. And, some therapists were pretty hot, too.
