Re - Install DLC Cars Exclamation !

Very strange thing happened to me over the weekend. Some of My DLC cars from the Racing pack have a little yellow box with an exclamation mark beside them. Its prompting me to re download them from the dealership to use them again. This has some pro's and con's. Firstly I thought you could not delete DLC cars ? Which i can with the warning sign. Thats fine as i got rid of some unwanted DLC cars i haven't driven. But on the flipside, i have lost some nice DLC cars i have been tuning and broken in. I just re-downloaded them from the dealership and they are back to stock. Anyone else had this ? or it is a common problem? Seems strange to me as All the DLC is fully downloaded and been working for weeks!

The only way I see this happening is when you completely un-install the game data (i.e. delete the game data via Game Data Utility in the XMB). It would be strange if this just happened out of the blue. However, seeing how buggy GT5 was and is still becoming, it really doesn't surprise me, seeing how they had problems with the first DLC. I haven't bumped into the problem you described personally, but those are my thoughts. I also haven't deleted any DLC content either, but I thought you weren't allowed to do that? I don't know anymore.
 
Well the only other thing i can think is the kids have been messing about with my PS3 but i doubt they would delete anything. I know i would not. There is no way i messing about with my GT5 saves or data with the hours i have put in. I have read EVERYWHERE u cant delete DLC cars but i deleted 6 today out my garage and thats a fact !

Well, I'd also say to regularly backup your save onto an external device. Best be safe than sorry. 👍

At least the situation resolved itself, sort of. Happy gaming!
