# READ ME #: Division 3 Replays

Hi folks,

I have had a couple of PM's in regard to Division 3 of late that I thought needed addressing. Although discussion had begun on the nature of Div 3 midway through this page, I think it needs some more thought so I am asking you guys out there whether you would support the idea of Division 3 not having to provide replays for Gold times.

That's not to say replays won't be used in Division 3, they can of course still be requested if a time looks anomalous or provided by a racer because they want to (replays are always welcome 👍) it's just to help the casual Division 3 racer compete to the best of their ability without feeling guilty for not having a maxdrive. For promotions, Division 3 racers will still have to prove three consecutive Gold times via a replay but for the casual racer it may make life easier and perhaps increase the numbers of Division 3 racers too.

Anyway as Cyril was in the habit of doing, I want to make my decisions based on the preferences of you guys so no action will be taken until I've heard from you. If you could give me your thoughts that would be great. I'm particularly interested in the opinions of Division 3 drivers since it's mainly that division being affected 👍

I think you should keep it the way it is, or was....
I have not played in the wrs in quite a while but am thinking of making a comback and i would love to have to use my max drive again....

I think things should stay the way they are right now. And I know that div3 drivers
are not the fastest in the would, but they should still have to give a replay when
they get gold. Just because they are in div3 doesn't mean they shouldn't have to
give a replay when they get gold. Thats what I think anyways.

I voted not to change, but that's simply because I feel the whole replay-thing should be tightened a bit more...

If it increases D3 numbers, then changing the rules is OK with me - I'll still give a replay for all of my weeks. Basically, I've been racing one (Bigracer) regular racer, plus a couple who only stayed for a week or two... So any increase in numbers will be welcome.

What's that? Is this the requirement for a promotion?

Though I'm still not competitive in D2, but I could host Cyril some company.

i voted no change. why would div3 be treated differently from the other leagues? it's just a requirement for participating in wrs - like it or not.
also, since i now have a maxdrive i really feel it is true that you can massively improve your driving skills by viewing replays and chasing ghosts of better drivers. this fits in the philosophy of div3 being the playground for drivers aiming to improve their skills.
