Lets discuss...
I'm real happy with two specific features never before seen in GT. First, the cockpit view. BEST improvement in the game! and this combination with the G25 gear support is the second feature.
Sometimes I just drive to checkout the cockpit designs of cars.
I've been test driving lots of cars with the cockpit view. Being inside the cockpit view and seeing the gauges arch to redline is amazing. For me, I especially like being behind the wheel of cars I've driven or cars I'd love to test and potentionally own to have something to compare the experience to. Because they are all available in the game...I'll drive them all.
To compare the experience to real life, I've been testing out the Honda Integra Typr R. Reminds me of my Acura Integra GSR and my Honda S2000. I'm a Honda fan. The engine note along with seeing the actual gauges in the car climb to redline as you shift really makes this feel like a simulator. I get similar feeling when going out in my cars in real life, when I'm driving in cockpit view in GT5 Prologue. So much fun.
I hope they improve on the cockpit views. I want the cockpit design and gauges to be clearer. It really immerses you into the driving experience, in addition to playing with a force feedback wheel of course.
I like how they have implemented these features.
