Pretty sure this isnt a repost so here it is ...

Since last month, I've switched the display mode to simple instead of normal to remove the flashing red brake point indicator.

When I first did this, I didnt even realise that the brake indicator had dissapeared n slammed head on into the guard rail =P. Took several hours to get used to the game (again) in general.

Nowadays, GT4's so much more fun since theres no more watching for the blinking light out of the corner of my eye, but instead using judgement to achieve fast times, and licences are a whole new experience.

I'm just wondering how many other people have done this

p.s. turning off the map also adds a little more realism

i have, and like you said, the difference is amazing.

thats stupid meter thing has dissapeared, the brake indicator, and map...it all looks so much more real, nontheless, harder.

its fun, and realistic. just like changing tcs to 0 :sly:

I've never raced with that stupid brake indicator, as I think it's stupid. I have the map on though so that I can tell where my competitors are.

@<Kagoi> - Cool avatar dude... :)

i never look at it, because i often use different gears and brakepoints

The number than indicates the recommended gear that flashes at you when you get near a corner too fast.

already did, and map is still on so i could tell where is last place is :)

did you know that... i just run on driving mission 34, i've hard time to beat that, always over 7 sec behind, and i'm like, oh forget it, i exit out and saw option, changed to simple, but leave map on.. went back on driving mission 34..... beated it by over 1 sec by first try with simple screen, YAHOO!
