DMC Gran Turismo "Sovrano" '11

Buy the Maserati Gran Turismo. Paint it white, orange or blue.

Get Aero A, Flat Floors, and Custom Wing A. Buy the 1 Inch up RAYS 57Ultimate in black.

Get:
Stage 3 Engine tuning (to replace the supercharger)
ECU
Sports Exaust
FC Suspension

Drop ride height down by 1.

Limit Power to 580 (99.1%)

That was all I could find. No luck with transmission. If anyone can help out, be my guest.

GM got a 7:37.47 on wet track conditions ZL1 got 7:41.27 on dry :sly: I would say if you add fear of crashing in real life my replica is spot on :D I just added Z/28 and ZL1 images to the tunes enjoy:dopey:

Finally got some time to test out the ZL1 and I was about a 1.5 seconds faster than GM's lap time. So I'd say that they are both spot on replicas(well except for the fact that the body kit isn't exactly perfect, but it's as close as we can get with what they gave us).

I've also tested out the GT3 RS, MC Stradale, Gallardo Superleggera, and the Brabus SLS; with great results out of all of them! The Cosworth STI and Hennessey Charger look like fun, going to hopefully build them tonight!

Guys,

Who is up for a interesting challange?
What about a nice series of replicas, all based on "Base Model" cars?
Think there are about 19 Base Models, and of course not for all specs would be available to make a replica....

But anyways, would be awesome :D

Thanks!

Sorry to give this feedback but I tried this car and it's absolutely horrible to drive, the suspension needs an overhauling and since the original one is turbo or supercharged, I believe that it makes the peak power sooner in the RPM range. So, this one is now left with a super long gearbox. Please ich can you do something, or better, can you bring back the advance flatout NSX from the old tread? That one was a real blast to drive.

Thanks in advance

Please look at my post regarding suspension a few pages back...

I already did, that's why I asked ich to do it. I did read the whole thread and I know about your issues with the suspension, but IMO a tune without that part is not a tune at all. So, I know, I don´t do tunes, but if you have the effort to post tunes in here, why don´t you go that extra mile to learn about the suspension tuning? Even if doesn't mimic the real life car, at least make it drivable.

I tried some tunes from the gt5 thread (in GT5) and they're all good, that's why after I tried your tune I read the whole thread to see where´s the problem. It could be me with the new physics engine, but is not.

And I hope you don't stay mad at me, but instead evolve to something better.

Mimicking the real life car is what we're doing in here, this isn't a come and look for great tunes thread. This is a replica thread that has mostly good tunes. Also, are you sure it's not just your driving? I drive this car all the time and it's fine with me, just the transmission I can agree with you on.

Mimicking the real life car is what we're doing in here, this isn't a come and look for great tunes thread.- I think that without the suspension settings you're not mimicking the real life car. The OP puts everything equal or close by and justified when not possible in game. If the car is not great, so the real life car should't be as well. The original NSX is a great base to start, why any company tune to worse?

Did your car have a wing on it? It's drivable with a wing on it. The original post don't have a wing, nor downforce values but then as a response to another user you said to put a wing on it

Besides the wing, I just double every values of the suspension(springs, dampers), except the camber and toe, and put it a litle lower. It´s so much better now. The thing is, the original values of the fully customisable suspension(not only in this car) are very soft, and I believe that a real life tuned car have a stiffer suspension on it. If you don´t tune the suspension, at least you can make this.

About the transmission, just put the close ratio 5-speed.

And I'm not trying to get into a war with you, just trying to get to a solution.

I think you're missing the point here. The real car doesn't have a 5-speed, it has the stock transmission. If nothing is said about suspension, we can't just assume the suspension has been changed. If your setup is great, go ahead and put it on. No one's stopping you 👍
