Real vs. GT4 in-game cars photos

I've got the idea to compare photos of the real life cars with their counterparts from GT4. I haven't found such comparison pictures here (nor elsewhere). It would be nice to see how much similar they are to each other. I mean to get the picture of real life car (one can search the web to find such pictures) and then to take exactly the same picture (the same car in the same position) within GT4 Photo mode. I'm sure this will be very interesting showcase of the GT4 graphics quality. I'm going to post such "double" picture soon to get you inspired and I hope there will be some other enthusiasts to post their own comparison pictures as well.

MR8...... if you fancy another challenge...... how about seeing if you can recreate either or both of the two following shots (my former Cappuccino and current S2000)...... it would be great to see real shots next to their virtual GT4 version (the backgrounds will be hard to match so don't worry too much)

I'd help you out more, but I don't have GT4 yet (A self imposed ban since it will absorb my every waking moment and ruin my life!).
 
lol @ TVR, I didn't even remember I have those. Those pics need some touchups.

I can do some white Evo VIII comparisons...but the car needs a wash first. :lol:
 
cool thread. this shows exactly what they need to do to make the graphics more real in gt5. to me it looks like a lighting issue. the colors aren't as rich in the game, and in real life the cars shine and show a lot more glare i think, at least in the photos so far. i think i might have to give it a shot when i get time.
 
I did a couple JGTC photos for someone based on real life photos with the same car and as close as I could get to the surrounding area. It turned out pretty nice -- but it's somewhere within the hundreds of pages of the General Photomode Thread and I don't feel like looking through there :D
 
Very nice job boys! (It's not so easy, is it? :-) One have to find the same angle, the same focal length and the same lightning - which can be quite difficult task indeed. But I like it very much.)

And continue please with making more and more comparison pictures with as much accuracy as possible. :-)
