Real World Racers

Hi everyone,

I wasn't sure where to post this but thought this was the most relevant thread. How many of you in here are racing offline as well as online. I know there are a lot of very nice cars owned by members of this forum but how many of you are actually racing them?

Even track days will do, if you take your car on them fairly regularly then I want to hear about it.

I thought it would be quite nice to have a thread for everyone that is racing in the real world on here as I couldn't find one myself. It would be nice to post where and when we are all racing so we can follow each other.

I can't believe it has 0 replies!

So, yes, I wheel to wheel race. I have a 1984 Porsche 944, and race in NASA's 944SPEC series.

Other track cars I've had include an 2003 Mustang Cobra (Kenne Bell S/C ... 500+HP) and an Ariel Atom.

Soo.... does anyone else have racecars?!? Racing Videos? What tracks have you driven?

Me: Pueblo Motorsports Park, Miller Motorsports Park, Hallett, Hastings, Sandia, High Plains Raceway, Pikes Peak International Raceway.

Almost forgot... the MINI

What tracks have you driven?

VIR (I tested a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup there a few years ago, didn't go so well, I don't like to talk about it)
Sebring (Turn 17 can shake anything loose)
Laguna Seca (The Corkscew = HOLY ****!)
Infineon,
Road America
Riverview Speedway (almost literally a stones throw from my house)
Autoclub Speedway
Daytona (that was a tour, but I count it)
the Texas Mile (first time I ever went beyond 200 MPH)
And more recently, The Nurburgring and the current GP course, but we got caught, and was told to GTFO (JORG, I TOLD YOU WE WAS GOING TO GET CAUGHT!). And when construction is completed, COTA. Only driving the track will truly determine if its any good or not
