What's going on GT community? I wanted to get you guys feed back on if you could go through the works with any car in GT6 what car would it be. When I say works this means full ownership, you keep the car maintenance as you would in real life. If you upgraded your car what real life parts would you use, from the game to mimic its real life counterpart. So for example, It's not just sports exhuast upgrade but would it be a HKS exhausting system, Greddy, Magnaflow etc. Please pick a car with a reason behind it. Thanks you guys for the help!

'Sup mate? ;)

So. If I'd go through the works with any car from GT6: Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 V-Spec. It's grown to my favourite Skyline over the past few months now, it kicked the R33 off of it's throne. Reason why I picked it: the bare history behind the infamous, original Godzilla, the looks of it (the wide rear fender arches are just fitting for it) and of course: it's a GT-R Skyline. Anyway on to the "ownership" part.

Welp, I'm actually planning to get me a Skyline R32 sometime, you know. It depends, but I could own one (if I get an educational job next year) in about three or four years. I also start taking driving lessons next year. So. I'd say I'd bring it to somewhere around 400-600 hp, you know: for me 280 aren't/wouldn't be quite enough. ;) I'd fit a new suspension in, maybe by Tein or something like that. It should ride fairly comfortable so it can be easily used as a daily driver, but also on the track. Moving on to the brakes, the standard calipers would get replaced by Wilwood or AP Racing, probably 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston ones at the back. Coming to the engine, the "fun" bit. So. I'd might convert it from a twin turbo to a single turbo, because two new turbos would just produce too much power. So the original turbos would get replaced by one HKS GT2350KAI turbocharger. The fuel pumps and injectors would be replaced by HKS ones aswell. New EX 264 camshafts by HKS would replace the old ones. The wastegate, downpipe and exhaust (Blitz Nur Spec) would be from Blitz. The clutch would get replaced by a LA Twin Plate clutch by HKS. A decent strut bar from Cusco would get added aswell. The original intercooler would get replaced with an intercooler from Blitz, and the air filter would get a HKS replacement aswell. Now the interior. Some new Auto Meter gauges for boost, water temp and oil temp would be added. The steering wheel would get replaced by a Grip Royal Jack suede steering wheel, the front seats get thrown out and some new Recaro Pole Position bucket seats. Moving on the exterior. The wheels would be replaced by either some sweet Volk TE37's or SSR Professor SP1's, 18 inches in size. Tyres wise, TOYO Proxes rubber will provide the grip.

Woah.

That is a mean set up my man! Very nice indeed! What color would your R32 be though, same for your rims?

@JDMKING13 The color would be either that really cool dark gray metallic (don't remember how it's called), Sonic Silver (I think it's right) or that Super White Mica or whatever it's called, haha. The rims would probably be in their stock color, silver.

Edit: referring to the car itself. Another option would be either a R33 GTS-T (decent GTS-S's are starting at 5.500€ here), a 180SX/200SX S13 (also, decent cars for a reasonable price) or a 280ZX (decent condition: 7.800€).

Ok very good! I really like your car set up, I still need a little bit of info sorry to be a pain. What color brakes would you get and I need you to pick an actual brake and rim set up. I am going to recreate your set up as if your car was in my league do a write up. 👍

Aight. Calipers would be black, the brake discs themselves would get upgraded aswell. Rims would be the TE37's then.

I will have your car write up done by Sunday! I picked the gun gray metallic color if that's cool with you. Again you have nice set up with your GTR, It is set up more for experience drivers though how's you driving skills in GT6?

Mazda Rx7 '93, with either a RE amemiya body kit or just the face lift bumpers. BBS wheels, mid port naturally aspirated 3 rotor engine with around 300hp. In crystal white.

For me it would be a 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur. Would have it in Bay Side Blue and with the NISMO Z-Tune bodykit and RAYS TE37 rims. Would also replace the engine with the Z-Tune RB28DETT Z1 engine with 500HP along with Tien suspension & Brembo brakes.

Finished product would look something like this:
9580904457_9998fc153c.jpg

Actually had my R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur on GT6 looking pretty close to this and almost identical performance.

I would love that car but i would change a few things:)
Put a V-Spec II N1 Suspension setup with the bare carbon hood.
And paint it Midnight Purple II not III

Also i believe those wheels on the picture or TE37V's not TE37's

I tried something like this on GT5. I bought a White Pearl R34 V-Spec II Nür and treated it like a daily. It was my go-to for many races and I took god knows how many pics with it. Of course I can't find any of them now.

Seems that Skylines are the go-to car for this.

When you hear the words GTR what's the first thoughts that come in mind? Fast and the furious, Godzilla, R34, R35? If any of these came to mind, you wouldn't be to far off of the general mass thought process. Those who know their history will tell you different, The GT-R dominance statue comes from the Original Gangsta R32. Fast forwarding to today PGTR has the pleasure to feature this 1994 BNR32 GT-R in GTP community rides!

Nissan Group A Track Monster Calsonic R32

When I first got word PGTR was featuring a R32 I was quite intrigued, I knew this was the car that gave birth to Godzilla. When I finally got to meet the owner of this beautiful R32, one of his reasons he loved the car was because of its racing pedigree. Can you blame him? If you want to own the streets and track the best way to start is driving a machine bred to race. This is why Nico Ble99 chose the R32, right off of the show room the R32 is extremely capable and for it's age is filled with technical goodies. It's 4 wheel drive system for it's time and even today is just as capable as any modern system. The R32 purpose is to go fast and dominate. In stock form The R32 is good, but according to Nico Ble99 It wasn't good enough.

Straight boss during city driving in the GT-R32

Looking at the R32 exterior, it a beautiful but subtle machine. The grey metallic paint with the wide fenders give it a mean look. The car stance is equipped with Tein mono sport damper coilovers which drops the car at perfect height. The owner changed the stock wheels out for Volk racing TE37 SL fitted with Toyo Proxes 1. The braking system is upgraded with black Willwood racing brakes and rotors giving the R32 a better tuner look overall. The interior is not lacking in anyway also. The stock seats where swapped out for Recaro pole postion buckets seats which are lighter and gives the interior an awesome look, The steering wheel which also was canned and replaced by a sexy Royal jack sued 3 spoke racing wheel. The driver also has 3 auto meter gauges to help monitor the engine vitals. Speaking of engine if you thought this R32 was all show and no go you have it all wrong.

Always good to knows whats going on under the hood from the cabin

According to the owner the stock power out put was not enough for his liking, he knew if his R32 was going to be a factor it had to pack a mean punch. How does 420 hp sound when it punches your ass in your driver seat. This RB26 can out put 600hp at full boost, but because the bottom end is stock the R32 runs at safe 420 horepower. With a bigger single turbo set up and a super power flow intake from HKS, it helps the RB motor breath more, and when it need to exhale it comes out of the massive blitz exhaust system which includes a down pipe and wastegate. The HKS stage two clutch keeps the power transfer to the wheels in check making sure the power is usable.

Driving impressions- Driving the R32 around town is pure bliss! The seating position is perfect the steering fits in your hand and the clutch while is a little heavy still is bearable during city driving. Nico GT-R will test your faith in the law. Those 400+ ponies come instantly through just a couple of seconds on the accelerator. I mean it's very addictive to just go fast in this car, the pulling sensation combined with the beautiful exhaust note, it's no wonder you get so many looks around town. This machine doesn't just go straight either. When you are about to hit a comer The GT-R really shines easily gripping around the apex thanks to the mono flex sports coilovers. The ride is a little firm but I like it, and if you are a car lover who likes to get the performance out your car you would also! It reminds you that your in a tuned car.

I would add a Magnaflow exhaust, Brembo brakes, Bilstein suspension, B&M transmission, and a GT500 engine swap. I would also a a set of Enkei 485-780-6535SP Tuning Series rims and top it off with a minor drop in ride height.

GTR R32

As a HUGE Nissan GTR R32 fan and an owner of an '89 R32 GTS-t I too have much passion for this car! one day i will own a GTR! even if i have to sell my GTS for a down payment, I will. I use the R32 GTR '94 on gt6 the most of the time, and i never use ABS, i haven't used ABS since GT4

I agree that without ABS it really does bring out the TRUE character of the GTR
's insane handling seen dominating at bathurst in the early 90s. It handles jumps very well and recovery from panic braking. I can pretty much drift into a corner locking the front tires and really attack the apexes aggressively and then full throttle out... its a monster!!!!! i have about 7,600 miles on my V spec II in the game...and I will definitely try this tune ASAP! i love replica tunes!
Bro 7,600 Miles! That is straight boss! I'm trying to drive my 400R like that! Feel free to leave your ideal set up and if you still play GT6 we should hit the track!
