Got a CSR for Forza but I recently got the urge to come back to GT5. I noticed that the FFB is rather strong compared to forza. I was fiddling with the wheel and game settings but couldn't find anything I liked. Are there any suggestions you guys have to make a CSR feel realistic? (I like to play at 900°). I know its not going to be perfect. I know GT5 is not optimized for CSR wheels. But with the strength of the FFB I'm more worried I'm going to burn out a motor.

I'm only guessing, but I suspect that because the fanatec wheels emulate logitechs, GT5 will send non linear ffb to the wheel.

I've tried GT5 with a dfgt and it was perfect. It felt like a toy, but was drivable.
With both my gt3rs and csr elite, even at ffb (in game) set to 1/10, it was way too strong and lots of clipping.

My solutions are 1) get dfgt, 2)get t500, or 3)stop playing gt5 and get iRacing.

On my GT2 I currently use 5/10 in game, 80% FFB on wheel, drift mode 5, spr and dpr both on their lowest setting (-3?).

The wheel weight is still higher than I'd like (I wish you could set that on wheel like you can in the PC drivers), but this compromise is pretty decent, I feel all the forces I would expect to feel, in comparison to my DFGT or my G25.

I feel the casing by the motor get slightly warm to the touch (unlike Forza where it stays cold) but never hot to the touch.
