I will post more info tomarrow when I get enough time, but for now I will give you the idiots guide to this format.

Top Gear Test Track
Mechanical Damage
Tire Wear
No Aids (Including ABS)
Manual Transmission
Different Classes
Run Down and Back
Average Speed=Result
 
Sounds pretty fun. But you confused me on the lest part. "Average Speed=Result". How am I to find the average speed in the middle of a race if my speed is changing from 0-220 or so?

Speed = distance over time.

Get your time and I'm assuming 10000. So do 10000/however many seconds it took :) and that is your metres per second. Then times tat by 3.6 for kmh and if you want to after, divide by 1.609 for mph
 
To set the best average speed as a criterio is exactly the same as to say that the fastest lap time wins. So why to make it so much complicated?

No, the speed we are measuring is the top speed that you have reached before you decide to brake before the wall, and remember guys ABS is off and Mechanical Damage is on Heavy, just like real life I would assume.
