Really annoying glitch?

This has happened quite a while ago, and it hasn't been fixed.

My SL 600 is fully upgraded with a customizable transmission. However, when I clock on "Transmission" on the left hand side, the pictures of the gears do not load. This is not the worst problem, however! Once you click on "Edit" to take you to the ratios, the game freezes completely! This isn't the only car, either. The black muscle tuner car also did this and it's really annoying. And no, it's not my disk causing the problem, because my disk is pretty much crystal clean.

Could it be that your save file is becoming too large? I've noticed that after Update 1.1, most of my friends have reported seeing their save files double or triple in size for no apparent reason. Usually save files in the 3500KB range begin to glitch up, from what I've heard.

How do you check the save file size?
 
This latest update made everything super slow for me. I go anywhere takes forever and exiting is even worse.

Things I click on seem to go quicker, but exiting is so slow and some times it just locks up!
 
I pretty much only play seasonals now and sometimes it's slow to get in but that may just be my Internet connection at the time. Exiting everywhere is like 2 mon wait tho. It's insane I hope the fix it soon.

I've noticed this happening online only. Sometimes takes 2 mins just to check and see what assists are on or off. Heck, my garage (around 250-350 premiums and 400 or so standards) takes some time to load online. By online, I mean in a lobby.

BUT, if I'm offline (doing GT mode races), everything works great.

If you have custom Menu BGM, try disabling it.

I do have custom music, everyone else who this is happening to do u also have it custom? Maybe theres some glitch with it on.
 
Counter, its a pain but, why not try a re-install, backup first!!!
